Most wardrobes have those fundamental, essential garments -  for example the perfect fitting jeans, the simple white tee, the LBD, a fitted blazer etc. etc.
My wardrobe on the other hand.. Well, let's just say that I find it much more fun to buy things that aren't very basic. (Like.. the green jacket  from acne which I love, but it's not exactly the most versatile garment).
Therefore, when I get that  "Maaan, I have nothing to wear"-feeling it's more like "Maan, I have nothing to combine this with" - just because of all the basic pieces I don't have.

Anyway, my plan is the build up a simple, quality, black/white/grey wardrobe consisting of all those fundamental pieces.
This is not the first time I've had this thought though. Good luck to me. Hope I don't get tempted by a pair of crazy statement shoes or something (probably).

I started out with buying this bikerjacket from Zara. It's simple, nice, veery soft, and, it goes with anything.
Mmm. I've missed having a fitted clean leatherjacket, since I studded my old one.. It's a must-have.

Summer vacation.
In exactly one week from now, I'm on my way to Australia! (Melbourne and Queensland + maaybe Sydney). Crazy. I've never been there before, but I've always wanted to.
Oh, I think about it day and night - so excited!

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you since I won't be blogging for a whole month.
Wont' be able to + I don't really want to think about the blog while I'm there. I want a real vacation :))

Oh, I really like it when garments in an outfit kind of blend together. Like the colours in this one. Faded/dusty tones.

+ I like the mix of materials in this outfit: cotton t-shirt by Rag & Bone, silk satin pants by Nina Ricci, suede leather pumps by Alexander Wang & a stingray necklace by Lauren Wolf.

The fashion show yesterday went great! The graduates had done a really good job and I was amazed by the final result.

I'm gonna wear it on wednesday because there's a fashion show & party held by a design school here in Oslo, Esmod. 3rd grade are going to show their graduate collection! I'm so excited. Yeah, and I'm gonna turn model for a day and walk the runway.. Oaah. It's a collection made for young teenagers though, so I'm gonna look like I'm thirteen or something. Hoho. Besides, the clothes are reeally really cute, so I don't think most people would recognise me :p It'll be fun though!

So, a while ago Elin Kling made these fantastic DIY-shorts which made me really jealous. Fortunately, it's an easy peasy project, so I went ahead and bought some leather.

A look at my vintage Levi's shorts after the makeover:

Ten minutes later it's ten times cooler. Oh yes.

So, you probably won't get the nicest tan.. but you'll surtenly look hot! That's what I'm thinking.

I'm still on the search for a bathing suit with cutouts similar to this one.

I bought a pair of leather pants just to use the leather, but I just needed a little piece.. So, I thought I'd see if they actually fit me and make them into shorts - and oh yes they did. Great great.

This collection looks sooo goood.

The style is kind of careless, but  still very clean. Which is perfect.

My favourite items from these outfits are the jumpsuit, the big nude/beige bag, the suede leatherjacket and the shoes. Aaaaand everything else.

This tanktop has a really nice cut. It's oversized and long, so it looks really good as a mini-dress too! Plus, I'm really into the print , it really adds something extra to this black & white outfit.

I have a HUGE craving for this jacket.
